OWNER | LEAD PLANNER + DESIGNER
I’m a traveler at heart and believe the best moments in life happen when you’re surrounded by the people you love—preferably over good food and wine. I find peace in beautifully designed spaces, from thoughtfully curated rooms to cozy cafés. Small gestures, good hospitality, and well-designed surroundings inspire my approach to event planning
Although Maine is my home, my adventures backpacking countries, road-tripping in our renovated van, and studying in Florence Italy have deeply influenced my passion for creating extraordinary events, meeting new people, and gathering people from all over the world together to celebrate.
After working as a wedding planner for a full-service catering company and spending time in the Hospitality industry for many years, I founded K Marie Events in 2018 to blend my passion for logistics, design, and hospitality. I believe true luxury is felt in the moments that matter most. Whether it’s an intimate gathering or a multi-day celebration at a private estate, we craft experiences that make you feel cared for—like you’re at a beautifully hosted dinner party with your closest friends, where every detail is effortlessly considered
When I’m not planning weddings, you’ll find me traveling, exploring the outdoors, sipping on coffee or wine, relaxing on the beach with my rescue dog Ollie, or enjoying live music with my Husband Lucas, who is a musician in Portland.
VICTORIA
ASSISTANT PLANNER | LEAD COORDINATOR
Victoria joined the KME team in 2021 and has become an invaluable part of the team, serving as Lead Coordinator on events and as Assistant Planner during the season. With a strong background in event and venue coordination, along with a keen attention to detail, she plays a vital role in keeping the back end of our planning processes running smoothly.
Her journey into wedding planning began in college, where she made it the focus of her capstone project. That passion led to an internship at The Inn on Peaks Island in Maine, where she spent five years both an assistant wedding coordinator and general manager. She later joined Kelcey’s team and quickly filled the role of Lead Coordinator.
In addition to her work in wedding planning, Victoria is also a photographer and has worked with companies to develop and manage their marketing and social presence. Her creative eye and marketing experience bring an added layer of expertise to KME’s events and operations.
Beyond her professional roles, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, getting outdoors, golfing, and visiting the lake. Her favorite part of wedding planning? Seeing everything come to fruition after months of planning and witnessing the pure joy of each couple as they celebrate their wedding weekend.
OLIVIA
DESIGN ASSISTANT
Olivia is a world traveler, avid reader, gardener, baker, and beachgoer—with a deep love for nature at heart. While she has lived in Philadelphia and Phoenix, Portland, Maine, has always felt like home. Now, she resides in the Midcoast with her soon-to-be husband, their affectionate cat, Mac, their playful dog, Finn, and a spirited flock of chickens that provide the prettiest pastel eggs—pure joy!
With eight years of experience in event planning, Olivia brings a blend of creativity, organization, and a keen eye for design. Her career has taken her from island inns and oceanfront resorts to wooded glampgrounds, desert golf clubs, and charming pastoral farms. These diverse settings have given her a deep appreciation for the magic of a thoughtfully curated space.
She has a passion for crafting stylish, luxurious aesthetics, incorporating meaningful details, and ensuring that every celebration is a true reflection of the couple. She has a particular love for beautifully designed stationery, personalized touches, and the moment when every element comes together in perfect harmony.
