A Dusty Blue Field Wedding in New Hampshire
Would you believe us if we told you this was their plan C and their third wedding date? A lot happened during our planning process, but we can all agree that this ended up being the best and most special plan. We started planning with Whitney and Justin back in 2019 and had planned to celebrate with them at a venue in Southern, Maine in 2020. Then covid hit and we rescheduled to later in the year, then covid continued and we rescheduled to 2021. Unfortunately there was some family health issues that arose and we decided an outdoor venue would be best for everyone’s health and safety—- cue the next plan. After a lot of venue searching, Whitney’s parents thought it would be special for them to get married on a plot of land they have had for many years and where they plan to build a house in the near future and in the exact spot as the wedding tent. We knew it would take a lot of additional logistical planning, landscaping and a full build out—but man was it worth it! To end the evening, Whitney’s brother (who is licensed in pyrotechnics) put on an EXTRAORDINARY firework show for everyone.
Before the big celebration, Whitney and Justin hosted a small intimate gathering in 2020 to officially get married. It was a very special moment for them for many reasons. Justin’s father unfortunately passed suddenly in 2021 before the bigger celebration, but was in attendance to witness their love and commitment to one another at their intimate ceremony and was there to watch over them as they renewed their vows in July. This couple went through a lot from 2019-2021 and we feel very blessed to witness the love and support they have for one another and to have been a part of the process. This wedding will always hold a very special place in our hearts. Cheers to you guys and the amazing bond and love you have for one another and we can’t wait to see where all your new adventures together lead you.
