Coastal Blush Wedding in Biddeford Pool, Maine
Stephanie and Ben held a vow renewal celebration at a private home in Biddeford Pool, Maine. Due to the pandemic, their original wedding celebration had to be postponed to 2021, but they made the decision to wed in 2020 surrounded by their closest family and friends. In 2020, their original wedding plans included an intimate gathering at another home but due to the postponement, plans had to be changed because the home was scheduled to go under construction. They pivoted to another home on the pool where they decided to renew their vows with a larger celebration on June 26th 2021.
The night before the wedding, their guests enjoyed a barbecue, live music, ice cream truck (check out Twist here) and homemade roasted smores! The perfect laid-back gathering before the big day and a wonderful way to welcome their guests to a Maine wedding weekend.
Unfortunately due to international covid restrictions, one of the groomsmen couldn’t make it. Luckily, technology is wild and he was able to join VIA a moving robot…. yes you read that right. He was able to connect to the screen and control the robot from his computer across seas so he could be a part of the celebration.
Their wedding design was romantic and rustic, with hues of blush and soft colors all around. Their driftwood chuppah was hand-built and decorated with lush floral from Watershed Floral and the couple’s dog Delaney joined the celebration as their flower girl. After enjoying a quintessential Maine Lobster bake oceanside, everyone headed to the barn on the property. We transformed the space into a dance lounge with romantic lighting, hanging greenery, music and lounges. The couple was hoisted up for The Horah and guests danced the night away. Before the night was over, the couple was surprised with a hot dog cart for the late-night snack which included Ben’s favorite chili, Skyline Chili from Cinncinati!
