Natalie and Joakim may have been legally married during Covid, but that didn’t stop them from having the ultimate wedding bash a year later and celebrating with all their friends and family the second time around. Guests were welcomed to Maine with a 3 day party weekend where everyone mingled, dined, danced, and explored the coast of Maine.

On Friday, N+J were joined by an intimate group of friends and family for their rehearsal Dinner at the White Barn in Kennebunkport then retreated back to the Nonantum for the welcome party. Guest were welcomed to their hotel room by thoughtful welcome bags, gifts, and an itinerary for what was in store. Everyone joined under the tent at the Nonantum for light snacks, live music, and a big welcome to Maine.

Saturday was the big day. The bride and her party got ready at her mother’s home in Biddeford Pool where she grew up visiting throughout her childhood and was the location of Natalie and Joakim’s first celebration a year ago. Joakim and his party met them at the house for a first look on the beach and photos at the Abenakee Club. After photos were complete, the two of them were whisked away by a vintage car and headed towards the Nonantum. The ceremony took place overlooking the water and in front of the light house, a classic coastal Maine Ceremony. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed live music, libations and many appetizers on the front lawn before retreating into the tent for dinner. The design was romantic and classic with a touch of luxury boho with rattan hanging lights, rattan chargers and luxurious white textured runners. We built a custom wall for a travel tag escort wall which was fitting for N+J who travel a lot and were living abroad while planning their wedding with us!

The perfect night ended with a stunning sunset and a packed dance floor. The Band Eye 2 Eye knew how to keep everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, dancing for the whole night. When the evening ended and the band played their last song, it wasn’t time to go home quite yet. Guests were directed to the trolleys where they were be brought to the Old Vine Wine Bar for a private after party and late night treats.

Sunday was for BBQ and Bloodys, coastal view, and farewells. After an incredible weekend, family and friends joined in Biddeford Pool for a BBQ Brunch to say goodbye to the couple and soak in all the events from the weekend.
