N+L Chebeague Island Wedding with Mid Century Color Inspiration

N+L brought their guests from all over the country and all the way from Israel to celebrate on this island in Maine. They welcomed guests Friday with welcome bags hanging from every door and gathered on the Inn’s lawn for welcome drinks and a Maine BBQ. Saturday the weather was beautiful as they hosted their ceremony on the lower lawn and their reception in a beautiful sail cloth tent with bright mid- century colors and florals growing from the table. As guests entered the tent, they were welcomed by a fun colored escort wall and a sign setting the theme for the evening…. let’s party.

We loved the couples design request: We want it to feel authentic to the island and we want flowers “growing” from the table and look as if they were just picked from a local field. Well, Diadem Floral and her team brought that vision to life and really stole the show. We could go on and on thanking her for bringing our design boards to life.

Instead of a food menu card, we opted to create wine cards for each guests that outlined the wine options on the table and provided them with a background of the wine, it’s tasting notes, and pairing details. Guests could then try the wine on the table with dinner for a wine and dine experience.

Congratulations N+L it was such a joy celebrating with you. Thank you for being truly authentic and fun people… and for loving cats as much as we do.
